https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunderbird/+bug/545778 is a very old bug report : year 2010.
Versions 5 of Ligthning were localized , it is not the case of version 6.2.2.1 provided by xul-ext-lightning package. So we are facing a regression.
