With upstream work having been landed in Nightly, I've merged
https://github.com/canonical/firefox-snap/pull/64 into the nightly
branch, and the change should be available for the users of the Firefox
Nightly snap ('edge' channel) later today.

Please feel free to take it for a spin and report any issues here or
preferably on the upstream bug.

To switch your Firefox snap from Stable to Nightly, you can run the
following in a terminal:

    sudo snap refresh --edge firefox

       Status: In Progress => Fix Committed
