Thanks for the report, this will be a tough one to debug. Nothing
relevant in stderr, I assume?

This is not the typical thing that I'd expect the core24 build to solve,
but in case you'd like to give it a go:

  snap refresh --channel stable/core24 firefox

As a reasonably simple and intuitive work-around exists, I'll set the
prioirity to low.
