Hey, I was just thinking about that recipe you mentioned last week. I finally got around to trying it out last night, and it turned out pretty well, though I think I might have added a bit too much of the fresh herbs. The flavor was still great, just a little stronger than I expected.

How did your attempt go? Did you follow the instructions exactly or make any adjustments? I'm always curious to hear how different people interpret the same steps.

On a totally different note, have you been to the new park that opened downtown? I walked through it over the weekend and it's really nicely done. There's a great path for walking and some interesting sculptures. The weather was perfect for it, not too hot at all.

We should plan to meet up there sometime if you haven't seen it yet. Maybe next week? Let me know what your schedule looks like. I've been trying to get outside more often, and it's a good excuse.

So, about that movie we talked about watching, I found it on that streaming service we both use. I started it last night but fell asleep about halfway through, to be completely honest. It was late, and I was pretty tired from the day.

The part I saw was interesting though, the cinematography was really beautiful. I'll have to go back and finish it tonight. Have you had a chance to see it yet? I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't say more.

I also wanted to ask if you've read any good books lately. I'm between books at the moment and looking for a recommendation. I'm open to any genre, really. The last one I read was a bit heavy, so something lighter might be nice.

Let me know if you have any suggestions. Maybe we could even start the same one and talk about it as we go, if you're up for that. It could be fun.
