Good question.... we are hoping that soon, this Open Source Developer Club
will be filled by Open Source developers around Malaysia. We will have the
open source developer interest talks and so on. All of us will get the
benefit.
Those who love cars should love how to fix their cars and do modification as
they like. Those who love and use open source software should someday love
to see the code behind it, tweaking it and develop new things around it.
being an end user forever is nothing much different with those proprietary
software user. Join the club and learn more. At least by contributing to
translations or packaging, you are one of the people who help developing
open source software.
Currently, being a developer isn't really one of the requirements yet.
Simply because we are in the early stage. At least, being interested in open
source development will do. Get passionate and we can walk along the path
together.
