You should inspect deeply on how should the PC shuts down. I suspect, it may
due to improper wiring of those partition area. To reduce static charges,
you should do proper grounding. Be aware that strong static charges may also
harm your electronics and computers. It doesn't matter whether you install
Ubuntu or any other operating system. If those area always have supply
problem, you may have to consider using backup battery to ensure that a
short disconnection of power wouldn't shutdown your computer immediately.
