[ubuntu-mythtv] Add network manager

Hi Guys,

There has been talk in the channel and with some people i've spoken to
regarding adding Network Manager to the mythbuntu builds. Adding it isn't a
large space issue, as it takes up <3 megs more. The problem comes that when
you add network manager, you need to choose a frontend (we'd likely choose
the -gnome gtk frontend), and you need a notification area. The most common
way of doing this appears to be add pypanel to the env as well. This then
adds a list of running programs and a clock too.

The problem is that it really doesn't fit in the resultant env. Pypanel
appears to stay on top of mythfrontend even in full screen mode. Also, even
if it didn't, it's not exactly 'easy' to customize what your wireless
settings are with mythfrontend launching automatically.

I'd like some sort of happy medium here that could be settled upon, any
ideas?
