[ubuntu-mythtv] Disable lirc blaster?

Dave,

This is quite a peculiar problem.  Does it persist with a modern (2.6.38)
kernel such as that in Mythbuntu 11.04?  If so, are there any messages in
dmesg to accompany the IR storm?
