[ubuntu-mythtv] Mythbuntu upgrade problems

Thanks for the responses. I couldn't figure it out so I ended up just deleting everything and installing Mythbuntu 14.04.1 fresh.

I always end up having these kinds of problems when I upgrade.

Sounds familiar.
Rooting around the logs I eventually found that it was failing during
the initial backup  (that can be run verbously with a script) and the
cause was a locked table.  I used phpmyadmin to find the table and
unlock it.
