Agreed! Hehe. I had a different problem with Debian Etch. I wanted to
keep everything in the system within debian stable release, esp because
of gtk+ (firefox 3 uses 2.10), had to compile it and do a batch update
on the computers. Now the lab has two firefoxes. I wish debian was as
fast as Ubuntu with repositories.

The most surprising thing was that firebug was working nicely with this
one. Now I have no reasons left to keep ff2.
