Dan again,
Do I just reply to the list email address for now and it'll reach everyone
so far??? Confused...
Anway heres an update: I just fired off a copy of this whole convo so far to
the Welly list and will update you with any replys. Im still looking at
gathering support and interest and trying to learn what would be most useful
and productive at a meeting as I am quite amatuer with Ubuntu and Linux
myself but my facilitation skills are alright.
At this stage Im thinking a casual discussion and install meet could be good
and my work is quite centrally located in town. Pre meeting to organise a
larger meeting also seems like a good idea. Thanks to Jeff for the advice.
These are very conceptual thoughts as I have no idea whats going on, but
hopefully further contact and advice can set me straight to organise
something useful.
As a side note I ended up wiping the recovery partition on my laptop, so Im
a little nervous about messing with it until my technical knowledge is a bit
better. Have been considering an old desktop of trademe to play around with,
any advice or models to avoid???
Anyway cheers for your enthusiam so far, I look forward to hearing from you,
Dan
