Sorry about that. I've changed the status to Fix committed. python-
kombu 3.0.33-1ubuntu1 is available in xenial-updates but for trusty it's
only available in the staging PPA right now. If you'd like to try it
out:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-cloud-archive/mitaka-staging
sudo apt-get update
** Changed in: cloud-archive
Status: Fix Released => Fix Committed

Title:
python-kombu should require python-amqp >=1.4.7
Status in Ubuntu Cloud Archive:
Fix Committed
Bug description:
requires.txt from python-kombu-3.0.30-1ubuntu1~cloud0 contains
amqp>=1.4.7,<2.0, but the deb package dependency is Depends: python-
amqp (>= 1.4.6), python-anyjson (>= 0.3.3), python:any (<< 2.8),
python:any (>= 2.7.5-5~)
This will present an issue in trying to launch applications such as
keystone, which rely on keystone, if you do a simple package upgrade.
I suggest updating the deb requirements for python-kombu accordingly.
