  Service script unreliable

Status in conntrack package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  The service script for conntrackd does not support the status command.
  Also rather than a pid file, it uses a simple lock file. If the
  service crashes the lock file has to be manually removed in order to
  start the service again.
