Hi

Based on the information already provided, I can't figure out why the
postinst script for this package is failing with exit status 8; if you
could edit:

  sudo vi /var/lib/dpkg/info/ceph-common.postinst

and change

  set -e

to

  set -ex

and then run:

  sudo dpkg-reconfigure ceph-common

we might get a bit more information.

Marking 'Incomplete' and 'Low' (unable to reproduce, no other bug
reports of this nature).  Please set back to 'New' once you have
provided the log output from the steps above.
