---------------
pyroute2 (0.7.11-0ubuntu2) noble; urgency=medium

  * debian/control: drop Build-Depends-Indep: python3-mitogen

Title:
  please remove python-mitogen from the archive

Status in pyroute2 package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in python-mitogen package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  The python-mitogen package is currently blocking the python3-defaults
  migration [1], and FTBFS with python3.12 due to it's usage of the
  `imp` module. Unfortunately, the usage of the `imp` module in this
  package is non-trivial, and upstream is actively working on support
  for python3.12[2].

  For now it seems the best resolution is to remove python-mitogen from
  the archive. There is one reverse Build-Depends-Indep that needs to be
  sorted:

  nr at six:~/u/p/pyroute2$ reverse-depends -r noble src:python-mitogen
  nr at six:~/u/p/pyroute2$ reverse-depends -r noble src:python-mitogen -a source
