Hi,

Thanks for reporting this issue.

It seems that, during the postinst script, when generating the pyc files
for the package, the installation process exited with an error because
one of the directories in the package path at /usr/lib/python3/dist-
packages/jwt does not exist.

Have you manually removed one of those directories in the path? Can you
confirm they exist in your system?

Since this seems to be an issue with your system, I am marking this as
invalid for now. Please, reset the status of this bug back to new if you
believe this is indeed a bug and provide additional information on why
you believe it is a bug.
