Title:
python-jsonschema-specifications fails to build
Status in python-jsonschema-specifications package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Status in rpds-py package in Ubuntu:
In Progress
Bug description:
python-jsonschema-specifications fails to build, when it tries to run
the build tests against both Python 3.12 and 3.13. We are in the early
part of the Python 3.13 transition where there are 2 Python versions
available for packages to build with.
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-jsonschema-
specifications/2023.12.1-2/+latestbuild/amd64
The build error has this line during the Python 3.13 build:
E ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'rpds.rpds'
My guess is that we need to merge rpds-py 0.21.0-2 which includes this change:
"Depends on python3-all-dev, build for all supported Python versions."
