python-ironicclient B-D-Is: on python-appdirs, which is obsolete and has
been removed from Debian (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1112216).

It seems that maybe this is a vestigial B-D-I? From the changelog:

python-ironicclient (5.5.0-0ubuntu2) noble; urgency=medium

  * d/p/appdirs-to-platformdirs.patch,d/control: Switch from appdirs to
    platformdirs which is active and maintained.
