Public bug reported:
After installing a Ceph Tentacle cluster on Ubuntu 26.04 LTS using ceph-
by-ansible (1).
The prometheus module fails to load. Enabling or Disabling it has no
effect:
cluster:
id: 877c8bf1-32af-4716-a798-2a8aeca852ef
health: HEALTH_ERR
Module 'prometheus' has failed: not all arguments converted during string formatting
121 mgr modules have recently crashed
services:
mon: 3 daemons, quorum ceph-mon-3,ceph-mon-1,ceph-mon-2 (age 16h) [leader: ceph-mon-3]
mgr: ceph-mon-1(active, starting, since 3s), standbys: ceph-mon-3, ceph-mon-2
mds: 1/1 daemons up, 2 standby
osd: 6 osds: 6 up (since 16h), 6 in (since 16h)
rgw: 1 daemon active (1 hosts, 1 zones)
data:
volumes: 1/1 healthy
pools: 7 pools, 169 pgs
objects: 281 objects, 589 KiB
usage: 416 MiB used, 600 GiB / 600 GiB avail
pgs: 169 active+clean
I found a related issue on rook (2), showing the actual fix has been merged upstream (3) and is a part of the 20.2.1 release.
An SRU of the 20.2.1 release should fix this.
Thanks,
Alan
