Public bug reported:


This package ships at least one init script in /etc/init.d that needs to be migrated to a systemd service.

Up to and including Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, the systemd package shipped systemd-sysv-generator which generated
basic systemd services from System V scripts on the fly. This generator was removed from upstream systemd
in version v260, and will not be shipped in Ubuntu 26.10.

No corresponding Debian bug was found, but you can double check here:
