We're actually trying to avoid having such entry fields where it's
unclear what needs to be typed in. That patch was also make before the
switch from glade to GtkBuilder, so would need to be redone and cleaned
up.

In general, I'd very much rather such changes go through upstream first.
If you could, please open a bug upstream at the GNOME bug tracker
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/) against NetworkManager and propose both the
issue you're finding and the solution; then comment here with the link
to the bug report so we can link the two reports.
