Dati alam ko po meron CD na ganun from the author of
www.ubuntuguide.com. However, I think it was shelved at hindi na rin
active ung author.
You know what I did? I backup all my debs downloaded from
/var/cache/apt/archives/ and then i saved them sa dalawang cds
(sobrang dami na eh).
Tapos I copy them sa isang folder sa isang bagong install na PC and
then do some dpkg-scanpackages incantation... and then add the said
folder to my /etc/apt/sources.list..
and voila, updated na ung fresh Ubuntu install. :) Ganun ang ginagawa
ko sa mga ini-instolan ko sa mga barangay na walang internet access.
:)
(asar lang kasi hinde puede mainstall talaga ang mstcorefonts kung
wala talaga internet!)
There must be some other better ways to that but that's how I do it.
:) Tiga saan ka ba?! Baka puedeng maipadala ko syo ung CDs ko :) O
kaya maganda din siguro na gawin nating project un dito... isang
update cd good for a certain date (kasi updates do come from time and
time) para sa mga walang internet access.
And that will cost you about.. heheheh joke lang!
