[Ubuntu-PH] Received Ubuntu CD's 5.10 after 2 Months

Hi All!

I received the Ubuntu CD's and I have installed it. But I was
not satisfied with it; for one; it doesn't recognized my ATI
vided card well - it knows the name by I'm stuck with 640 X 480
resolution (hope I got it right) and it's not adjustable in the
"control panel" 2. It doesn't recognize my modem. (I know
internal modems are dummy) and I have to configure all this
things again as I did in Red Hat Linux. But in fairness it
recognized my sound card unlike REDHat with which I have to
"roll - up my sleeves and get down to business" with manually
configuring it to work. For claims of ease of use - this
incidents is not good news at all. I may sound pessimistic but
to convince Windows users to switch up to Ubuntu these things
shouldn't be the case, right? Good day to all!!!
