Hi all,

The minutes of the 2 Nov 2005 meeting is now available[1]. Salamat po
sa lahat ng pumunta at nagcontribute heh.

There are two issues/topics that will be discussed in this mailing list:
1. The use of dialect or languages, which was raised by Sir Rommel Feria, and
2. Statement to describe Ubuntu-PH.org, which was raised by Sir Zak Elep

I will be sending two emails, one for each issue/topic, to kickstart
the discussions.

Finally, as agreed upon in the meeting, we will have a volunteer sign
up for New Ubuntu-PH.org. Basically, everyone is invited to propose
and implement a feature for Ubuntu-PH.org, subject to the approval of
the community and/or the overall coordinator of course.

Each feature will be treated as a sub project with New Ubuntu-PH.org
as the umbrella for the said sub projects. Features range from a blog
aggregator, to new wiki, to forums, etc etc.

>From the pool of volunteers, a lead will be elected to oversee the
team that will handle a sub project. These teams will have the right
to define the implementation plan for their project, and will be
responsible in making sure that their project follows the
implementation plan. The wiki will be used as the tool for
collaboration.

An overall coordinator will monitor the progress of the sub projects,
preside team meetings, and other administrative duties. The overall
coordinator for this project is Ealden Escañan (aka me), who was
elected and has accepted the responsibility in the said meeting.

Hopefully, we can get the volunteer pool set by Sunday, Nov 6, 2005, 20:00 PHT.

Please check SiteManagement[2] for more details.

Thanks!
