[Ubuntu-PH] (K)Ubuntu installation hangs in "Configuring network interfaces... [ OK ]"

Good day,

Some additional information:
My fiend tried installing it himself at first in one of his PCs (PC#1) and
it installed smoothly. Then he tried installing it to PC#2 which has the
same specs as PC#1 and that's when we encountered the problem I mentioned
awhile ago.

Also, everything is built-in in the motherboard. and it can still boot to
its Windows XP and connect to the net with no problems.
