[Ubuntu-PH] The God Effect

(Trying to connect this with Ubuntu)

Is the GPL the "god" then for every one of us to act "fairly" in the FOSS
world? Recently, I've seen
news about the FOSS community pushing ASUS (EEE PC) or Verizon to open up
source code they
failed to distribute. And surprisingly, they gave in.

And now, we're a lot happier with what's going on in the software world in
general. Even big boy
Microsoft is now making steps to adopting this model.
