Hi, new here. I think when it comes to local games, there are active
players (home-users mostly) who experiments and try to run local games under
GNU/Linux. It is just hard to know who these people are, but I'm studying
to what extent of possibility is an iCafe with (K)Ubuntu can do and stay
competitive and low cost.
One reason why there are few games in GNU/Linux is because in Korea they are
solid to Microsoft, even their IM is MSN/WLM, and they will not create YM
accounts or accept ODF files.
This opens a door for us Filipinos. GNU/Linux is hungry for games.
Filipinos can enter this industry via GNU/Linux, we just need support
especially financially.
