The reason why big-wig outfits the like of Oracle, IBM, Novell, HP, etc are
tapping into opensource, aside from the vibrant community effort, is that
opensource provides them with a fresh business paradigm to work on. Bruce
Perens and Eric Raymond has seen this before. Of course to the dismay of
RMS, and other hard-line FSF supporters who believe ESR has "sold out".
