I'll probably bring up 3 of my 4 points from the channel, too;

1. Our Pinoy thread in ubuntuforums is more active than some of the other LoCo 
subforums there. [1]

2. There is no requirement that says you need to have a previously active 
forum or thread to be eligible to ask for a subforum. [2]

3. We can't really use the previous inactivity of the forums in ubuntu-ph.org 
or in ubuntuforums as a measure, because for all we know, the separate forums 
might be the actual reason for inactivity. There is also a possibility that 
we'll have more activity in the future with  this new setup.
