Minutes of RATVETI Meeting 02-16-2012 (Monday) 
at Grand Astoria Hotel 9 to 1pm

ASEAN Skills Competition (November 2012 in Jakarta, Indonesia) 
One trade – one Region – Restaurant Services (Region IX) 
2 competitors 
Youth category 
Open category 
Restaurant services 
Bartending 
F & B 
Waitering 
Commercial Cooking 
Housekeeping 
1 day Regional Skills competition 
Date of competition: 3rd week of April 2012 
Place (Should have function/social hall): 
Kabasalan Institute of Technology 

TESDA will provide the Test package 
Logistics – Provincial TVET associations 
Common materials and Utensils – KIT will provide 

Delegates per Province 
2 chief experts 
2 experts/jurors 
1 Provincial Director 
1 School official 
2 TVET association officials 
2 competitors (1 youth, 1 open) 
KIT can accommodate 40 delegates 
TESDA will conduct 3 day workshop for jurors (schedules will be announced later) 


TVET Policies Program 

Mobile Testing Center (launched by TESDA Secretary) with training equipment to provide greater access to the public. 
Atty Engracia raised a concern on how expensive it will be to have a mobile testing center, if the same specifications with the TESDA main office will be followed. 
TESDA waiting for proposal from ZCAPTI and other organizations in holding NTTC training (6 modules) 
Suggestion by TESDA R9 is to hold it every Fridays and Saturdays. 
TESDA can continue to provide its training functions by training more assessors not only from the Institutions but also from the Industry 
TESDA R9 is asking for a copy of the list of officers elected for RATVETI and ZCAPTI 

Quality Assurance 
Atty Engracia suggested that TESDA Regional office should conduct 1 day training for compliance audit so that schools can implement for internal QA 

ALAF 
MINTVET received approval of the ALAF nominees it submitted to the its Australia counterpart according to Atty Engracia
