Idea: 30 sec video contest promoting power user community

Hello everyone, 

LaserJock and I have been kicking around an idea on IRC, and wanted to
run it by everyone on the mailing list for input. He came up with the
idea of a short video, that demonstrates some of the customizations we
are capable of in Unity (and as a result also demonstrates what the
Power-User group is about). The parameters we have come up with so far
would be a short (aprox. 30 sec) video, showing a vanilla unity desktop
being customized/tweaked/hacked to the most extreme extent possible. We
were considering a time-lapse style approach, that would also compare
the original vanilla desktop to the tricked out one at the end to show
the contrast.

The fun part of this idea is, once we have the parameters set, we can
make it a contest open to all, and approach sites like
www.omgubuntu.co.uk and www.webupd8.org to promote it.
