[Ubuntu-PT 2762] Projecto Ubuntu “Learning the Open Source Way” – possibilidade de organização de um workshop

Caro João, Paulo e restantes membros da comunidade Ubuntu em Portugal,

Recentemente lançámos o projecto “Learning the Open Source Way”, que 
está disponível no “fridge” (http://fridge.ubuntu.com/node/1084).

Este projecto tem como principal objectivo ajudar a perceber como a 
aprendizagem, a comunicação e a colaboração funcionam nas comunidades 
“open source” e como estes factores podem ajudar a melhorar a educação 
(convencional).

Para além das actividades virtuais estamos também a organizar workshops 
locais e a avaliar a possibilidade de realizar um workshop em Portugal.

Por este motivo gostaríamos que avaliassem a possibilidade de reunir um 
conjunto de membros da comunidade Ubuntu interessados e/ou outros 
especialistas em comunidades “open source” para um workshop a realizar 
durante o mês de Outubro.

O workshop poderá decorrer em qualquer local embora tenhamos preferência 
que se realize na cidade do Porto, uma vez que estamos aqui sediados e 
podemos organizar o workshop em colaboração com a Universidade do Porto.

Ubuntu “Learning the Open Source Way” project – inquiry of workshop 
possibility

Dear João, Paulo and other Ubuntu members in Portugal

We recently launched the “Learning the Open Source Way” project as you 
might read at the fridge (http://fridge.ubuntu.com/node/1084).

This project is aimed at advancing our collective understanding on how 
learning, communication and collaboration work in open source and how 
these experiences can help to improve (formal) education.

Besides our virtual activities we are also organizing local workshops 
and currently evaluating the opportunity to run one in Portugal.

For this reason I would like to ask how do evaluate the feasibility of 
bringing a group of interested Ubuntu members and / or other open source 
experienced together for a workshop during October.

The workshop could be at any location in Portugal, though we do have a 
preference for Porto (as we are based here and might be able to arrange 
the workshop at the University of Porto).
