ISSUE WITH REPORTING BUGS

Not really sure how to use this, but wanted to report an issue I encountered
when after upgrading.  Note my upgrade process was canceled midstream which
may be the cause.  But I got some kind of serious kernal issue and when I
tried to report using ubuntu it said I could not because I don't have an
official version.  Any ideas?
