LTS
WHY:
It is the one provided by the OEMs
It is the recommended install from the web site
The developers that use it need stability not the newest shiny
It is supported for 5 years
2. Which release are you on:
This is QA dude most of us will be testing 16.04 to ensure the new lts
rocks
This isn't even an option
3. I only recommend lts as I know it has had the most QA attention
4. 14.04.3 Until 16.04 is released.
