If you have a favourite program, you can look at the bugs reported for
it and try to reproduce them. Commenting on the bug if you could or
couldn't reproduce the problem is always useful.

And that in turn will give you an idea of what are the weak spots of
the application. You can just run random actions around these weak
spots, and you are likely to find new bugs.
