I had a spot of bother with the iso for Ubuntu (64 bit). I attempted to
install it via USB memory stick which is configured to use Ventoy.
Attempted to install it on my lenovo ThinkPad x201 and it consistently
crashed in the installer pretty early on in the install process.

It probably isn't the ThinkPad at fault. To verify that, I booted into it's
OS (Ubuntu 18.04.4) and did a Software Update (634.9MB download) and it
worked fine. I am hoping it is a problem with my memory stick which I will
chase up tomorrow evening. It is now running 18.04.6 quite happily.

HTH,

Ian
