I don't think it's "in addition to ubuntu-release", rather that some
members of the release team will watch out for queries in the MOTU IRC
channel.

Last time we had UnseededUniverseFinalFreeze at release minus 1.5 days.
I think it worked fine. This is also what the release schedule says, and
what you (Kate) said earlier in the thread, so I'm a bit confused on
this point.
That said, I wouldn't mind tightening up our definition here a bit.
We're using UUFF to mean "no more uploads after this point", which is a
bit different to what Final Freeze means normally: "RC uploads only". It
might be valuable to establish a cutoff for Universe FFes at Final
Freeze time and a cutoff for non-world-ending bugfixes at UUFF time so
that we can all focus on bug fixing after final freeze, albeit with a
slightly lower standard for unseeded universe until UUFF.

As above, I don't think we need specific delegates. Just let people know
that release team members will be watching #ubuntu-motu on a best-effort
basis and that questions should be addressed there.
Cheers,
