official schedule for milestone images

I continue to be confused as to when milestone images are going to be
available. They used to be Monday and now it seems that they're
Tuesday before Thursday's release, but there's also some suggestion
that perhaps depending on whether or not they are alpha or beta more
time may be available. I'd love to find the official answer so I can
put it on our wiki page so my testers aren't constantly mewling at me
:) I realize that there's no guarantee and I will word the text as
such, but some guidelines are incredibly helpful. Actually, what would
be even better is if there is a schedule posted somewhere. Then as the
schedule may change, they'll have the newest info.
