(Suggesion) Dedicate Ubuntu the Ubuntu 25.04 release to Steve Langasek?

Hey all, had an idea that I wanted to share after talking about it with
some other folks in Ubuntu.
I don't know how else to say it, but Steve was awesome. I don't think
Ubuntu would be where it is now without him, and we're all still
feeling the impact of him no longer being with us. Given how much he
did for us, I'd love to see some lasting artifact commemorating him
in Ubuntu.
Back for the Ubuntu 21.04 release, the Release Team dedicated the
release to Adam Conrad (infinity), after he made a similarly immense
impact on the project and then passed away. As a fairly new Ubuntu
contributor (compared to some of the long-time members around here),
things like this are still helping me learn about and develop respect
for Ubuntu's rich history and the people who brought it to where it is.
I think something similar would be appropriate for Steve, if it sounds
OK to the Release Team.
Me and several other people in the Ubuntu project talked about this
during the Governance Sync Meeting on January 14th[1], where we had
some discussion about potential ways we could celebrate Steve's memory
in the release. AFAIK everyone seemed to think it would be a good idea
to have a release dedication similar to the one we did for Adam, as
long as we're not conflicting with the Release Team's wishes. So in
conclusion, the question is - how would you feel about dedicating the
Ubuntu 24.10 release to Steve Langasek?
Also, like I mentioned, there were a few other ideas for things we
could do to make the release special in memory of Steve, those ideas
are mentioned in the Governance Sync meeting notes linked below.
Opinions on any or all of those would be quite welcome.
Thanks for taking the time to read this!
