[Bug 903136] [NEW] Lubuntu doesn't shutdown on MacBook 2,0

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

When trying to shutdown Lubuntu 11.10 on a MacBook 2,0 - from the gui or
from 'sudo sync && sudo shutdown -h now' or 'sudo sync && sudo halt' -
the shutdown process doesn't get completed - it get's halted instead -
how can i fix it manually, or for when i can see this fixed as
milestone?
