[Merge] lp:~michael-sheldon/ubuntu-keyboard/swipe-extended-keys into lp:ubuntu-keyboard

tested, works nicely.
Going to approve and release as it's a major improvement over what we have currently.

There are two things I think we should address asap in another MR though:
1) with autocomplete/autocaps on, pressing the ? or ! key from the extended menu of the . does not  auto-capitalize the next word as it does when pressing these keys from the secondary layout
2) please change the spacing of the top row extended key menu to be consistent with the spacing of the lower rows. currently it's displayed much lower in relation to the source key than the other rows to work around the issue with touch events being intrepreted by the window underneath.
