Trivial branch that does not call abort() if it can't read the fake sensors file. The rational is that the unity8-desktop-session-mir depends on libubuntu-application-api-test1 but the test fail can not be read because of the AppArmor confinement.

Alternatively we can implement a NullBackend instead of a TestBackend for systems like a normal desktop that do not have real sensor equipment. Please advice.
