Hey Israel. CMake 3.3 is here to stay obviously, until 3.4 or such comes. If you believe it's a CMake problem, report it to CMake upstream. Otherwise it'd need to be solved one way or another at some point - all distributions will eventually have CMake 3.3 or newer.

There's no big hurry at the moment since 15.10 is already in feature freeze, but definitely we and eg Ubuntu Studio would like to have newest LMMS possible to 16.04 LTS!
