Build with -DBOOST_ERROR_CODE_HEADER_ONLY so the resulting library doesn't link to libboost_system.so.  This doesn't work with the old version of default Boost found in Vivid, but we will have a 1.58 backport available shortly.

I also added some __attribute__() declarations to silence the -Werror compile error.
