This cannot be verification-done as the fix hasn't yet landed in the
proposed pocket so there is nothing to verify yet.

With respect to the fix for Yakkety, the bug is missing SRU information
documented in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#Procedure.
But in this case it sounds like you have a clear enough test case, and
the package is completely broken and nothing else appears to depend on
it so there is nothing in this package to regress.
