Hi, this is a long standing problem for devices using liburcu 0.4.0 or above, which uses sys_membarrier when available. Currently xenial has liburcu4 version 0.9.1-3, vivid has 0.8.5-1ubuntu1, so it follows all devices we have will try to detect availability of sys_membarrier syscall.
