This certainly makes a measure of sense, but I'm vaguely uncomfortable with making this large of a change in SRU.  I might be less uncomfortable if I saw a fleshed out SRU template for this covering regression test plan etc.

I also would like Adam's opinion on this and will defer to him on whether to accept.
