I agree to dropping ifenslave for the mentioned reasons.

But since iproute2 is currently only in main indirectly via (plenty of) others I wonder if on this change we should be safe and replace ifenslave with an explicit listing of iproute2.
I'll leave the decision if we want/need iproute2 in the file up to you, +1 on removing ifenslave.
