This one was reported more then half year ago and was fixed. I am sure
that you have other reason why login does not work... Please open new
bug.

.xsession-errors these days does not include much I think. Does journalctl has something to say?
journalctl _COMM=gnome-flashback? journalctl _COMM=gnome-panel? journalctl _COMM=metacity?
