And now I'm wondering about the 0x100 sectors, for 512 byte sectors (which even larger sector drives may report as), that's 128 KiB, which seems awfully low and I'm wondering if they missed a zero as normally you do like 16 MiB (that certainly works for red hat's bounce buffer patch).
